I love La Mongie. It's quiet and the Pyrenees are beautiful and so much less busy than the alps. Super little restaurants which are reasonably priced for apres ski. More of a ski resort than snowboard as some connections require a bit of skating/pole action and maybe a bit limited for super advanced skiers but for a long weekend is perfect

We really enjoyed visiting La Mongie. We stayed with friends in the valley and drove up each day. Parking was well organised and easy. The slopes were fairly quiet and lift queues werent too long. Plenty of opportunities to visit different slopes as well as crossing over to the Bareges side of the mountain. We had fantastic weather and some bluebird days that really made it!

Great ski resort! Lots of options on ski posts , the most popular chair lift is kinda slow.gets crowded on weekends . And parking lots get full ( weekends ) Plenty options on ski rentals. Ak

La Mongie, one of the best places Ive skied! Get early 7:30am to park your car along the top parking overseeing the whole resort. Put your ski boots , walk 50 meters to the bridge , put your skis and if you have your prepaid pass go straight to the lift! It opens I think around 9am I think they should be open at 8:30 at least. You can ski your brains till 11am have a little sandwich break by your car and Go ski again at 12:15 because all the locals like to eat from 12 to 2pm..,, the posts are empty on lunch! Locals knowledge. Yeeeew

Went there many years ago and felt it was a very good family friendly resort with good options of accommodation down in Luz St Saveur. If you dont go in the French half term general busyness is pretty good and there are some cool runs with the famous tourmalet climb in the Tour de France available to see!

Lots of lifts but they dont really have offer much skiing or make sense. Generally low elevation change with lots of flat runs. Quite a lot of off piste when the conditions are right but gets skied quickly
