Great resort for a long weekend with a few different ski domains to explore. Long ski season for a resort despite it being in the south of France (Alp Maritime). Very convenient coach transfer from Nice! The resort town itself is not that picturesque but there are a lot of activities which are great for families. The "Boulevard" piste is a lovely long green run which is great for beginners!

Myself and my partner went for 3 days skiing in isola 2000 at the start of this year and had the best time. The slopes were quiet the accommodation we stayed in was awesome as we had ski in and out access. The conditions were a little icy on the slopes but the resort did their best work to keep as many runs open and well groomed as possible. Very impressed with the place and hoping to go back soon!

My friends and I went on our first mates ski trip to Isola 2000, it fitted the average skiing ability of the group. However, as one of the more advanced skiers, I did struggle to enjoy the variety of skiing as there are a lot of green runs and at least a third of the pistes / lifts were shut which was very frustrating. The resort befits a short ski break but as someone who ordinarily skis for an entire week or two I can't say it would work for that length of time. Not entirely sure I'd return anytime soon.
