Courchevel Review Summary
Courchevel attracts skiers and snowboarders of all levels, from beginners to experts, with many reviewers highlighting its connection to the Three Valleys as a major draw. Intermediate skiers dominate the reviews and consistently praise the well-groomed pistes, wide runs, and efficient lift system. Off-piste and tree runs are noted by advanced riders, while beginners appreciate the nursery slopes and ease of progression. The resort's high cost is the most frequently mentioned drawback, with reviewers citing expensive lift passes, food, drink, and accommodation. Après-ski options are well-regarded, though prices vary significantly between locations. Some reviewers mention crowding, particularly with inexperienced skiers, and a few note issues with lower-altitude snow cover later in the season.

Whether youre an intensive skier/boarder, an apres ski fiend or a family wanting their first experience in a snowy resort, this is the place to be. You have all types of accommodation, from 5* hotels, to budget inclusive holidays. Catered chalets to self catered apartments. Everything will be suited for you.
Theres multiple levels to courchevel, le praz being one of the lowest with many catered chalets to Courchevel village which hosts incredible 5* hotels. You can be exploring these villages for weeks if you have the time.
The pistes are maintained to a very high level, with hundreds of kilometres of corduroy fresh at your doorstep every morning. With bluebird powder days happening frequently, the constant tree runs back to safe pistes are something not to miss. Having pistes ranging from greens to blacks and even monitored off piste at the top of the saulire cable car.
This resort is magical, full of life and containing some of the best friends you didnt know you had yet. Including the amazing apres ski bands that you can see at the end of a ski day or at a lunch spot in the mountain.
Courchevel also has some fantastic shopping with sponsored designer gondolas floating through the sky.
The furthest left of the 3 Vallées resorts courch is fantastic for those who want to explore all the way to Val Thoren.
Courchevel often can be quiet especially in 1650, and is home to some of my favourite runs. Big cruisey blues and very safe powder fields under pyramids.
Great snow conditions everytime me and my group have visited during Jan/Feb. The apres ski options are plentiful and there is great crossover access to all 3 resorts for skiers/boarders of all abilities. Lively resort centre in 1850 with bars and restaurants, and the option of a gondola running late into the night for those staying lower down in the likes of la-praz/la tania. A must visit!
