Great resort, especially for beginners but there's terrain for everyone. Really easy to get to from the motorway as well.

Hit and miss fir snow- had great snow and awful snow- if it's awful then it's pretty impossible to have a good time. However in good conditions it's a fun and friendly resort great for families.
Self catering is the best option with decently priced apartments near the piste.
If you can go last minute and check snow its worth a trip- lots of fun to be had off piste through trees.

Chamrousse is a great resort with lots of different pistes for all different abilities. Went here with a mixed ability group, and everyone from beginner to those who have been skiing their whole lives didnt get bored. Have to say though that it gets pretty busy over the weekend, but during the week you have the slopes to yourself.
