Overview
Pyhä is a scenic ski resort located near Pyhä-Luosto National Park, offering a mix of slopes for all abilities. Pyhä is known for its peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty and is a haven for skiers looking for a quieter experience. The resort’s off-piste terrain and freeride areas attract advanced skiers, while beginners go for the well-groomed runs and great ski schools. Cross-country trails and snowshoeing routes through the park provide alternative ways to explore the Arctic wilderness.

Excellent resort for a wide variety of winter activities. The skiing is perfect for beginners as the slopes are wide and quiet. Ski school offers affordable private lesions.

Really enjoyed our time at Pyhä but unluckily quite a lot of the slopes were closed due to the bad winter Finland had in 2024. Unfortunately, of the slopes which were open, the only black run available was closed off as reserved for a school of skiers who were visiting the resort at the same time as us. Very family friendly, not a lot of apres ski activities (a few bars but most very quiet and no sign of the pub quiz we had been told of), close walking distance to local supermarket and souvenir shops, and plenty of varied accommodation options for all budgets and types of holidays.Overall a nice resort, but we seemed to get unlucky with the weather at the time we were there.

Lovely resort with lots of ski up accommodation. Plenty of easy / beginner runs and s simple ski hire process. Fire pits everywhere and aurora borealis an added bonus!
