Great place to go to try something different. This isnt just a ski holliday its an adventure and an experience. There are so many different activities on offer so you wont get bored. This place gives you a real lapland feel and wild raindeer can be spotted. The days are much shorter but the slopes are flood lit so you can keep skiing into the dark. You may even have to oppprtunity to ski under the northern lights. Great place to go if your looking for a quieter resort with no lift qeues. The ski area is fairly small but offers a good range of ability and off piste tree runs. Overall it might not be the best or biggest skiing and apres but for a nice cheap option it really is an experience!

Beautiful scenery, quiet slopes. Ski Park was a highlight - not much apres-ski wise, but a few bars in town. Very family friendly and lovely accommodation options around.

Had the most incredible time Snowboardinf for the first time - the staff were lovely and the slopes were well kept. Good 10/10. Just wish some of the longer ski pulls were lifts or T-bars instead of pucks.

Had a great time in this small, pretty, quiet resort. Our objective was a quiet area with plenty to do beyond skiing, as my wife isn't a confident skier, and Pyha was just right for us.
There aren't that many pistes, with only 1 green, a few blues and reds, and 3 blacks, but they were all very nice and in February were well covered with snow.
The temp in Feb is quite cold, I'd say more so than typical European Alps, which meant relaxing outside at the few restaurants was chilly, but inside they were all nice and the food was tasty and hearty.
The village is quite small and quiet; there are lots of non-skiing activities though eg. dog sledding, snowmobiles, reindeer rides etc.

A fantistic place to experience a winter holiday. If you want just skiing it is not the place as there is 1 green slope and only a couple blue runs. Great for begginers with a great ski school. As it is Finland, prices are quite high but worth it.

Excellent resort for a wide variety of winter activities. The skiing is perfect for beginners as the slopes are wide and quiet. Ski school offers affordable private lesions.

Really enjoyed our time at Pyhä but unluckily quite a lot of the slopes were closed due to the bad winter Finland had in 2024. Unfortunately, of the slopes which were open, the only black run available was closed off as reserved for a school of skiers who were visiting the resort at the same time as us. Very family friendly, not a lot of apres ski activities (a few bars but most very quiet and no sign of the pub quiz we had been told of), close walking distance to local supermarket and souvenir shops, and plenty of varied accommodation options for all budgets and types of holidays.Overall a nice resort, but we seemed to get unlucky with the weather at the time we were there.

Small, quiet, friendly but pleasant. Not a pary capital but very relaxing.

There was a decent range of groomed runs. There were plenty of more adventurous off pieste options but I'm not skilled enough for that. There was also an extensive cross country network.w

Pyhä offers stunning slopes and a serene atmosphere, perfect for skiers of all levels. Fire huts scattered around the area provide cosy spots to rest and enjoy a traditional Lapland experience like toasting sausages on an open fire.

On clear nights, Pyhä is an ideal place to see the northern lights, thanks to its remote northern location. Beyond skiing, activities like snowshoeing dogsledding and sauna add to its appeal, and Santas Village in Rovaniemi is just over 1 hour drive away.

Pyhä is a fantastic destination for those who love being immersed in nature and I cant wait to go back this weekend!

The slopes were always quiet, so you had lots of space to do your own thing. Theres almost always fresh powder through out the day! Snow quality is incredible! The food is delicious. Imagine snowboarding/skiing, with the northern lights overhead, its incredible!
