We spent Christmas 2023 in St Johan. We stayed out side town and at the base of the lifts for ease. Being Austria even though it was the warmest winter we've ever skied there was still plenty to go at. In the ski jewel area there are some cute huts, it's friendly, it's family friendly and also a great base. We got super ski passes and with a short (free) train ride were able to ski kitzbuel and ski welt areas which made for awesome big days out. Also meany different options for apres.

So close to Kitzbuhel by 8min train it opens up so many other great resorts. Lift pass also gives access to public swimming and spa. New red run lift amazing

Great base resort to explore the area with a full lift pass. St.Johann itself is a small ski area, but you can hop on the train and be in Kitzbuhel in 10 mins. Lots of other ski resorts included in the pass, so lots of variety, and a cosy effective way to explore the area

Went very soon after covid which was why it was so quiet. Nonetheless, the town was absolutely stunning and very reasonably priced for drinks. Lifts very modern. Variety of ski runs very good for such a small resort. Ski pass was great as you got access to a wide variety of resorts, and train was very reliable.

Lovely resort with a variety of lifts and pistes to suit every level. Also has my favourite ski cafe which is my happy place with friendly staff and gorgeous views across to kitsbul

We booked this resort for a better value ski trip. Lift queues where quiet and there is plenty of runs within St Johan, and neighbouring areas are accessible

Ideal base for exploring many different ski areas in a week with the area lift pass. Excellent transport links to Kitzbuhel, Waidring, Ski Welt and Fieberbrunn/Saalbach. Apres ski low key but still many sociable and comfortable bars and cafes.
