A brilliant resort, with plenty of options for runs. A good mix between blue and red runs. Some runs can be narrow and feature moguls however you can also find wide runs with good pisted terrain. There is a good option for some off piste terrain, however there can be some steep angles and trees which make it difficult.

Had an amazing day riding here after a fresh load of snow had clumped down the day before, sweet powdery conditions everywhere! And great local food at the hut at the top too!

The staff made this holiday. They were amazing and even ordered in halal meat for us. Couldn't of asked for a better hotel. View from our room was stunning, you can watch people sliing down the mountains from ever angle. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you.

Had a great week skiing at Kuhtai near Innsbruck, Austria. We skied start of December 2024 and didnt have full coverage but a couple of great snow dumps while we were there really opened up the mountain and some awesome off piste skiing! A lot of the groomed runs are intermediate but there is some great off piste terrain if the conditions are right. Very quiet while we were there, almost no lift lines even on the weekend. Some great options for eating, reasonably priced burgers, beers etc and then some fancier options too. Almost all accom is ski in ski out which is a very fun experience coming from NZ where we dont have that. Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone, great skiing and great facilities!

The most snow sure resort in the Innsbruck region, and one of the highest in the Tirol. With the connection ( by 5 min bus ) to the area of Hoch Oetz ( on the same lift pass) you have access to high open, motorway pistes and a good selection of tree skiing for poor visibility days.
Kuthai is entirely ski-in ski-out and made up of mainly high end hotels. Apres is quiet but the on mountain restaurants do get lively in high season.
Great for families and ease of transfer from Innsbruck- regular buses from the city centre all season.
Great for a few days of mainly intermediate skiing on piste but with some excellent off piste to liven things up .

Despite being one of the smaller resorts in Austria, its proximity to Innsbruck (1hr by bus) and solid selection of harder pistes made Kühtai one of my best skiing experiences of all time. Ski rentals were reasonably priced and very good quality at the resort (if purchased in advance), and the lift system was reasonably priced + very well maintained. In all, I look forward to visiting again and seeing more of what the Austrian Alps have to offer!
