Not the best resort for beginners, very hard to get to blue runs unless going through a tricky red. Apres options also limited.

I really enjoyed my week in Hopfgarten and really good to have the larger ski pass that allows you to go to Sol and Westendorf too! Only think is this resort is quite low and so later in the season there is a bit of issue with the snow lower down the mountains so would suggest going earlier.

Not the most beginner friendly, with only a few blue runs which are still considerably steep. Fantastic for intermediate skiers, with plenty of blue and red slopes that range in both terrain and gradient, with ice being a challenge on some of the more shaded slopes but moguls and piles of snow also offering a challenge and a chance to build up experience at times. There were some really lovely black runs, for skiers and boarders who value the opportunity to carve, as well as some more icy and steep slopes.

Went good Hopfgarten last year with a couple of mates and stayed at hotel staffler who do guided skiing so this was one of the many places we went, amazing wide groomed runs fantastic dreamy views, these sorts of places make you forget all your worries, Hotel staffler is a great place for as well they do amazing food, and really look after you.

This resort links to many others and all have multiple routes and runs with places to stop and eat or apres ski. The village itself is welcoming with lovely places to eat and the staff are accommodating and helpful.

Great ski resort. Lovely mountain range. Cheap and great weather! The resort is also really easy to get to from Munich.

A nice resort just very small and mostly locals. Not lots of options for food and drinks was a little disappointed. Skiing was good, mainly went to other resorts for apres etc

As a first time skier this resort was so welcoming, so friendly and just unreal. I ended the two days after being with our instructor as a light intermediate skier and I cant wait to get back on the slopes.
