There are two main ski areas, one having wider slopes with less trees, the other more challenging. Both are linked by efficient gondolas.
Whilst there are not as many long slopes as some other areas the natural beauty & friendliness more than makes up for this.
Im an expert skier, taught in Alpbach, I now ski race & train others - I never get bored of the ski terrain & go back every year.
The village itself keeps traditions going, its pretty & quaint.
A word of warning - once you e been there youll want to keep going back - my Dads been going for 55 years!!!
Hope this report tempts you - you wont be disappointed.
The village is picturesque and while it is a bus ride down to either of the gondolas that take you up the hill, the variety of fare is great. from traditional schnitzel's to pizza's and loads more in-between. Ask around for the restaurants not on the tourist maps!
There is something for everyone both on the hill and in the village!
