What Skiers Say About Grandvalira: Pas de la Casa

Grandvalira: Pas de la Casa attracts a broad mix of skiers and snowboarders, from first-timers to advanced riders, with many reviews coming from UK visitors seeking budget-friendly trips. The resort is consistently praised for affordability, extensive interconnected terrain across the Grandvalira area, and a lively après-ski and nightlife scene. Snow quality receives mixed feedback—reliable at higher altitude with effective snow cannons, but prone to ice and slush in warmer periods or late season. The town itself is frequently described as lacking alpine charm, with concrete architecture, though dining and shopping options are plentiful and well-priced. Wind closures on upper lifts can restrict access to the wider ski area, confining riders to lower greens. Transfer times from Barcelona (3-4 hours) are a common complaint.

Had a great time here in 2023. Lots of accommodation options that are walkable to the slopes. Several lift options at the bottom which prevents queues getting too long. We were in a mixed ability group and there was plenty of runs for all levels and great to connect to the other mountains and travel further if preferred! Would definitely go back!

Amazing ski area, especially having all resorts linked together. Pas de la casa, not so family friendly, more of an 18-30 vibe. For family friendly, better to go to any of the other resorts in andorra

Really enjoyed Andorra - lots of slopes and scope to explore. Some of the lifts were slow with big queues where they were at a bottom of a valley and people had to go on them to get to different areas. Some good easy off piste options. Runs for all abilities. Good nightlife and food options and affordable.

Was a really good place to visit, very noisy outside with a new building being built opposite.Food was either really good or poor esp on the slopes.Apres was great and very good all over. The slopes were amazing, few not open and lifts down, but that wasnt too bad tbh.Nice wide slopes and well looked after, would def go back.

It's a great place to ski in a budget, the skiing area is big enough to keep most skiers entertained all week and is a nice mix for all abilities. The nightlife is cheap and fun, especially the Irish bar!

The resort is well kept but isnt as high as other mountains so the runs are short at times. Apré is great and there are plenty of runs for beginners and advanced skiers.

Resort was amazing, very close to the slopes. Slopes were for every type of level and I came driving from Spain, I do say that people should fly to Barcelona and drive up to Andorra, the views are immaculate. I definitely Recommend!

A very relaxed resort with plenty or options for parking at bottom of various runs. Mostly for the beginner and intermediate skier or smowboarder the slopes are gently undulating and very wide. There are a couple of parks for those who like to try tricks or jumps as well and all is served by wellantained ond located lifts/chairs. The apres is pretty good with plenty of options for both food and drinks and not too expensive. It was fairly quiet when we were there and heard that was the vibe most of the season so not very crowded and therefore good if you have young ones learning with you. All in all a great trip.
