This was my first time skiing (other than lessons at home). I found there wasn’t very many options for beginner slopes (only 1 kindergarten slope and 1 green slope that you could only get to via a red). So spent most of the time on blues then reds towards the end of our stay. Overall great skiing experience, I went with my partner who has snowboarded for 20+ years and he also was impressed with a lot of the runs. Some really enjoyable long blue runs. It wasn’t too busy when we went so there was plenty of room. Wasn’t much of your typical Apres-ski vibe but worked fine for us as we wanted more of a chill atmosphere for my first time. Unfortunately the snowparks were closed whilst we were there due to heavy snowfall. Piste maps were pretty easy to follow and we managed to ski across to multiple other resorts and find our way back pretty easily. We booked the wrong hotel (2 with the same name) so unfortunately stayed in Andorra centre so had to get a 30 min bus ride up to encamp but wasn’t the end of the world. But it did mean there was plenty around in terms of shops and restaurants for days when we had a whiteout on the mountain. Transfer is pretty long but I’d say worth it for the price we paid and the skiing in general.

Very happy with the value for money, so much skiing to go at across the resort, wasn’t overly busy, had a great time! Was able to escape poor weather by choosing area tactically too which is a bonus

I had the best time at the andoora resort, they 200+ km of slopes to ride and a really good amount of snow, near the end of our trip it snowed heavily and off piste was an option but visbililty can sometimes suck, it is a busy resort i must say at peak times there is good apres and good food options but the blue lines and red lines were class but they were gpod, heavily recommend and its cheap

Fantastic ski area with plenty of runs for everyone. Very friendly, with modern and comfortable lifts and good food. Much cheaper than French alps.

Lovely resort. Friendly staff. Wasn’t too busy and the slopes were good. There were good food options available for all diet types. There was also plenty of instructors available. It was a friendly vibe and everyone was very helpful

It’s a great resort with plenty of slopes if you catch the snowfall. Love staying in the main city which offers the amazing Spa and lots of restaurants- getting a bus to Encamp for a few euros and only 12 mins

As someone who has only skied twice. This is my first ski week. Only ever been for a day. This resort is fantastic. It gave my friends a chance to have a go at the black slopes and I could relax and do the red/ blues ones. Lots of places to use the toilet and get food. Plenty of slops. Could stay here for ages. Highly recommend.

Had a fabulous time in Andorra, we were there early season so the snow quality wasnt as good but early morning the snow machines made a difference. The resort was large and not too busy and staff were really friendly.

Good ski area and eating out is good value. Not as modern as big French resorts. Transfer from Barcelona is quite long and finding bus to book a bit of a challenge so wouldnt consider for a wkend trip as 2 days travelling is pretty much required.
