Very lovely place
Can't wait to go back .
Apres is fun and good car parking as well
We stayed in El Tartar in a nice hotel with ski in/ski out, half board and a spa. In that order was the good things about the hotel. On a previous trip stayed in a hotel in Soldeu which was a million times better and much cheaper, albeit that was 8 years ago.
As for pricing, it was always said Andorra is cheaper than the alps but not by much. The transfer time is the same as going to the French alps from Switzerland.
The Grandvalira area will hold a special place in my heart but I feel its time to explore other resorts/countries now.
We love the people, we loved shopping at the grocery store. So different from home! Great ability on the hill to stop for lunch or a coffee. Hills were groomed
There were lift queues in the main areas but less so further out. Good snow covering by cannons. A few pistes were closed due to a lack of snow.
There were several good snow parks which the kids loved.
The blue slopes into Soldeu got quite crowded.
Decent pricing easy access, there is a lack of quick transport however most hotels are very helpful and can book transport.
Overall great experience will be back
