Mount St Louis is definitely the best spot within decent proximity to the Toronto Area. They have a huge variety of courses and trails for all levels, and their terrain park is one of the best Ive had the pleasure of riding. I highly recommend them to any skier/snowboarder.

I went there a cupple times with my buddies it's an amazing place staff is super friendly and always helpful, the inside was well organized, but it was quite busy and not alot of seating but it's a ski resort and that's pretty common, the lifts had great speed to get to the top and unloading was esay overall I recommend going here.

I recently spent a weekend at Horseshoe Valley Resort in Ontario, Canada, and I'm excited to share my experience as a snowboarder. Here's a brief rundown:

Terrain: Horseshoe Valley has a decent variety of trails, with something for every skill level. The resort boasts 25 trails, including 5 glades and 2 terrain parks.

Snow Conditions:The snow was generally good, with some areas being a bit icy. However, the resort's snowmaking capabilities helped to keep the trails in decent shape.

Lifts: The lifts were efficient, with a few high-speed quads to get you up the mountain quickly.

Food and Drink: The food at the resort was decent, but nothing special. I recommend bringing your own snacks and water to keep you fueled throughout the day.

Pros:

-Decent variety of trails for all skill levels
-Good snowmaking capabilities
-Efficient lifts

Cons:

-Some trails can be a bit icy
-Limited dining options

Overall: Horseshoe Valley Resort is a solid choice for snowboarders in Ontario. While it may not be the most exciting resort, it's a great option for those looking for a convenient and affordable ski day.

Hill does not have a great early season but later into the season the skiing gets good. Lifts are decent.

Growing up in Ontario I never really had that many options for skiing but Horseshoe was always within driving distance. Its not the biggest with usually long lift lines. overpriced lodge food like always. I ski park and the terrain park is almost always pristine with great variety of features. I would say Horseshoe Resort Is a great family ski destination for families with smaller children getting into skiing, but also a great resort for experienced park skiers looking to hone their skills.

In the summer, the hiking and biking trails are beautiful, and the scenery is amazing. The accommodations are cozy, and the staff is friendly, but some areas could use a bit of updating. Overall, its a solid getaway for adventure lovers.

Great set up for kids/ beginners. Took my kids here and they loved the fact that there was a chair lift for the kids hill, which allowed them to get use to it before the bigger runs.

It's a bit of a small hill compared to the other ones I've been to, but definitely worthwhile for some fun and easy hills. Accommodations are also pretty good aside from poor wifi in the building I was lodged in. Also, the skating rink is very poorly maintained if you're interested in that.

Ive gone to Shoe for about 6-7 years now and I can say its the best family based resort Ive been to. As a worker or a visitor, the vibe is always consistent! Music, smiles and friendly faces all around. Snow making machines have upped the anty this year too !

Great slopes! Not much of a terrian area. Lots to do on site, great hotel stays. In the summer I've also taken dirt bike lessons which were fantastic.

A rather budget friendly ski resort, Horseshoe Valley has a barebones approach to the term ski resort. The hills are all not too difficult, and accommodations usually are airbnbs in the area. Not recommended for high level skiers, but for a family friendly time with different intermediate to beginner level skiers not a bad resort
