Glen eden is a small hill but my personal favourite. If you know when the right time to go is, you can get in a lot of runs and have a lot of fun. Where glen eden excels the most is in the terrain park. When it finally does open for the season it is exceptional. Staff are always keeping all the lips clean and the shorter height of the hill allows you to get lots of laps and session any feature you want. The local people especially in the park are a great community to be around similar to a local skate park. Now for the downsides. Unfortunately due to where its located, the weather and conditions arent always great meaning there is often some icy days and usually a shorter season length. On top of this it is located quite close to toronto which can sometimes cause it to get very crowded with people who have no idea what they are doing. If you can plan to be there when it isnt packed and the weather is decent (usually you can only have one) you can have a great time at glen eden.

Definitely not somewhere I would plan a trip to, however if you are in the GTA, then its a great easily accessible hill for beginners. Advanced terrain is lacking, no true steeps, cliffs, anything of that nature, however the terrain park is often very good (depending on the season). Very beginner friendly, great to learn how to ski, and beginner areas are separated from the rest of the resort. Food is okay, standered ski resort fare, but not much for apres ski. If your a beginner or park rider living in the area, Id recommend Glen Eden otherwise its not really worth it.

Not bad for a local resort, but wouldnt consider taking a long trip to ski here. Great for kids and beginners, and the terrain park is often well built, however it falls short compared to destination ski resorts.

Not too busy as long as you stay clear of the ski schools. There's only 12 trails which means it can can repetitive, but it's decent for the the price in southern Ontario. The lodge was packed so it took a while to find seating but I had a decent time none the less. Don't expect the world but you can most definitely have a fun time skiing at Glen Eden.

First off, wonderful service at the rentals shack. Getting to the parking lot can be a bit chaotic at first, but once past the gate, there is a lot of guidance. I think because it's smaller than a place like Blue Mountain, where I have also been in the past, it can feel more crowded in the resting buildings at certain hours. But when you're out on the slopes, you don't feel crowded at all other than a few instances when getting off the lift if someone (aka. past me) takes the wrong turn. Since it's a smaller place, it's quick for a beginner like me to get the hang of. I definitely recommend starting with the "bunny hill" and working your way through the runs. I always have a great experience here!
