Calabogie Peaks Review Summary
Calabogie Peaks attracts primarily intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders, with many reviewers noting it as Ontario's tallest ski resort and the best option within the Ottawa region. The most consistent praise centres on well-groomed runs, minimal lift queues (especially midweek), friendly staff, and excellent snow-making capabilities. Reviewers frequently mention the lack of a ski village atmosphere, limited food options, and slow fixed-grip quad lifts that result in longer rides up than down. Several users note the terrain can become icy, particularly later in the day, and some mention confusion with run signage where trails cross over each other. The terrain park receives little attention in reviews, with some noting it was closed or underwhelming.

Beautiful views from the peak. I always look forward to going.
To get run after run in with little wait time. The runs are steep but short. They did a fantastic job with the terrain available to them. The apres skis was our favorite part because the staff were spectacular at the chalet, the food was good and we were told there is live music on the weekends so we went back in the weekend and the live music and the chalet restaurant /bar (black Donald) were amazing. We do t live super far so we will be back for the runs and the music!
Be aware, most restaurants close by are quite expensive for apres ski.
