In the Vancouver area I would say this mountain is the best for powder. Super fun small resort, with cabins to rent to stay the weekend, which is recommended since the drive up to the resort is challenging.

Had an amazing day in Sasquatch, no lines for chairs and good snow! All the runs were decently long and it was nice and quiet even on the weekend so you had lots of space to enjoy the run to the fullest. Parking was also free and the food was very good, overall a very good experience

The resort is a smaller mountain, however, a variety of runs that allow you to practice whatever the riders level is. There are great places to snowboard off the designated groomed trails and get some powder. There is a homey feel at this resort.

I lived and worked here a couple seasons back - if you're trying to learn skiing/snowboarding or you want a fun family day out I can't think of anywhere more inviting. Advanced riders might get a bit bored as the opportunity for tree runs, off piste or powder bowls is limited.Very weather dependent (as it's so low and so far west).Very quiet most of the time but on the two/three days a year it gets busy I'd avoid it as the small resort can't cope with the numbers.Overall, very pleasant and very beginner friendly resort - great place to learn or improve your riding and an excellent little resort to being a family to.

We were impressed with this mountain! The snow quality was great. Its only two hours from Vancouver, great price and no line ups. Chilliwack is nearby for accommodations. There is a small lodge in the mountain for lunch. This is our kind of mountain, quiet and no line ups.

Sasquatch is an older resort. There are lunch and dinner options and apres but its 1 pub , so not a lot of variety. Accommodation is by booking a cabin. Rates are usually reasonable and can stay for a weekend without breaking the bank. Sasquatch gets an amazing amount of snow. But doesnt have a lot of lifts and most of them are slower. Its a great learning mountain, or great for a cheaper get away. There is something black terrain they can be challenging and amazing when theres fresh snow. Most of the mountain is fairly snowboarding friendly. Some good blue runs , not a lot of tree runs and a good beginning area. Lessons were easy to book and I felt like the kids learned from the instructor Lines arent usually that long. Prices are good. For a family on a budget, Sasquatch beats Whistler. Just dont expect to do much apres. Getting to Sasquatch is a bit of a challenge. Theres a gravel road and you are required to carry chains. It feels a bit treacherous but its fine.

Sasquatch is a family friendly mountain that is great for all levels of skiers though the terrain is more suited to beginner and intermediate overall. The pricing is not out of reach for most families and there are on hill accommodation options available through airbnb and other means.

It is a great place to go, not too expensive and the snow is pretty good during peak season. Sasquatch, also known as hemlock, is a smaller resort. Its still lots of fun with many different runs available for all levels. Good resort for beginners, since it isnt as busy as other resorts. The food here is not the best, not many options for food or dietary restrictions. The booze can be expensive here. The resort has a very very small tricks park. The lifts are not usually busy, but they are on the slower side, with frequent stops. The resort is not close to many stores or anything, and living accommodations should be made well in advance. The snow fall on this resort is hot or miss, since its elevation is too high. Its still lots of fun, since its not too busy!

Awesome family oriented mountain. Really off the beaten path (or at least was when I last went & it was still called hemlock mountain or mt hemlock (cant recall) its the local hill for lots of the Fraser valley (mission/abbotsford/etc) - as somehow who grew up night riding on grouse this place was a treat: - a south facing alpine bowl with incredible powder and baby trees for lots of tree jams. - a really well maintained terrain park - very affordable rates (or at least used to): if Im not mistaken they had a family rate of 2x parents and 2x kids for something like $50-100 (this is ~10 years ago though now Im getting old)

The size of this ski resort allows for a family friendly experience. Children can't really get lost as long as they go down the mountain. it all leads back to the main lodge. It has a great terrain park that is maintained and upgraded frequently. Lots of room for creativity here.

Resort nestled up a winding winter road where tire chains are required most snowy days. The mountain village is slowly developing and surely more upgrades and amenities will follow with the crowds. Amazing view, and nice terrain options for a family friendly ski.

The parking is good if you get there early enough and the lift lines arent terrible. Definitely recommend going on christmas eve, there is barely anyone there. The runs are alright, park is small however. Molly Hogans has the greatest burger ive ever had there. 10/10 definitely recommend the Royal Smash burger. Heading back down the mountain is pretty icey and can definitely slide into snow drifts if you go too fast. All in all 5/10 resort.

Sasquatch mountain resort is the resort where I learned to to snowboard. The instructors were really kind and they helped me through linking turns and how to use the lift and all that. It's a really nice resort and there was rarely any lines fo the lift last time I went there. I recommend it for people on a budget because you really do get a bang for buck.

Sasquatch is a small resort that only has three lifts and one magic carpet. It has a large variety of terrain ranging green to double black Sasquatch has in Canada the heaviest snow per square inch if you are into cliffs and that kinda stuff there is multiple runs with perfect cliff drops if you are into park theres only one small one the staff at this resort is the nicest Ive ever in countered they gave me a discount on a day pass just because I broke my helmet my Washington is a small community mt that is fun for all ages and skiers.
