Its called powder king for a reason! Fun groomed trails and even more fun to be found in the trees! Staff are great and lift lines short always! And the best small town bar vibe to go for lunch!

The quality of the snow (Powder!) and the runs (groomed and glades!) are fantastic. A bit off of the beaten path, but for a quieter hill, good prices, and the chance to ski 'first tracks' snow well into the day, it's worth it.

Has awesome snow. Nice groomed runs for all skill levels and great powder off trail. Newly renovated chalet and great food at the conception and also in the restaurant. Its a little outta the way but well worth the drive.

Really nice people, great food in the restaurant and concession. Wide variety for different skill levels from beginner to pro. Tons of powder is found everywhere especially in the out of bounds areas near the top. Nothing bad to say, always a great time!

powderking is one of the best bang for bucks ski resorts in canada if not north america. the powder is top class and falling fast and the short lift lines allow you to maximize your run time.

The name says it all - Powder for days!
This gem nestled in the pristine wilderness of the Canadian Rockies, Powder King offers gnarly powder with an amazing annual snowfall of 41 feet. The hill is ranked #4 in all of North America for snow. Simply put, the area boasts the best snow quality, putting it in the top-tear of Canadian ski hills. The only challenge... the hill can be a journey to get to.
Having skied this resort many times, I can confirm the power days are epic, and often. Check the weather when planning, as timing is everything.
Enjoy

Amazingly quiet resort, tons of options for all levels of skiier. Most of the terrain at powder king is low angle but the super dry powder makes it worth it. Definitely has a old school skiing vibe to the mountain. Only downsides are that the resort is really remote and there's no cell service.

This place is a hidden gem picked away in northern BC. Historically there is alway good snow, and true blower powder days. If the snow gods smile down upon you, you just might hit a once in a lifetime pow-day. Oh and dont worry about lift lines, fresh tracks all day everyday!

Great resort! Not very busy always tons of powder and so many trees to ski through! Super friendly staff and the lift isnt the fastest but youll need a good break after all the powder skiing on the way down! Tho a little pricey I still love to go Atleast 10 times a year the terrain and snow is absolutely unmatched!

PowderKing lives up to its name. There is always fresh snow, and if there isnt, theres always untouched pockets a short hike away. The lifts are mid at best, an old triple chair and a t-bar are the only lifts but they do the job. With the road to PowderKing being as treacherous as it is in the winter, the hill stays relatively quiet most days. A lack of a park or any real beginner zones means that this hill is really geared towards advanced free riders, but I would consider that a plus more than a negative!

10 1/2 stars for the powder! This is truly the best kept secret in BC skiing, the off the beaten path location probably means this will never be a big ski resort with a high speed gondola. But after you ride up the ancient chair lift, and the t-bar to the top, you will encounter waist deep powder, and on the right days, chest dip with non-stop face shots leaving you grinning ear to ear
