Amazingly quiet resort, tons of options for all levels of skiier. Most of the terrain at powder king is low angle but the super dry powder makes it worth it. Definitely has a old school skiing vibe to the mountain. Only downsides are that the resort is really remote and there's no cell service.

This place is a hidden gem picked away in northern BC. Historically there is alway good snow, and true blower powder days. If the snow gods smile down upon you, you just might hit a once in a lifetime pow-day. Oh and dont worry about lift lines, fresh tracks all day everyday!

Great resort! Not very busy always tons of powder and so many trees to ski through! Super friendly staff and the lift isnt the fastest but youll need a good break after all the powder skiing on the way down! Tho a little pricey I still love to go Atleast 10 times a year the terrain and snow is absolutely unmatched!

PowderKing lives up to its name. There is always fresh snow, and if there isnt, theres always untouched pockets a short hike away. The lifts are mid at best, an old triple chair and a t-bar are the only lifts but they do the job. With the road to PowderKing being as treacherous as it is in the winter, the hill stays relatively quiet most days. A lack of a park or any real beginner zones means that this hill is really geared towards advanced free riders, but I would consider that a plus more than a negative!

10 1/2 stars for the powder! This is truly the best kept secret in BC skiing, the off the beaten path location probably means this will never be a big ski resort with a high speed gondola. But after you ride up the ancient chair lift, and the t-bar to the top, you will encounter waist deep powder, and on the right days, chest dip with non-stop face shots leaving you grinning ear to ear
