Best Ski Resort for Value in Minnesota: Afton Alps - Value for Money Rating 4.11/5
Afton Alps gets mixed feedback on value for money from our SNOMAD community. One user who is an advanced snowboarder flagged that it's "way too expensive for size of resort" - particularly when parts of the mountain were closed, resulting in 15-30 minute lift queues. However, many users find good value in their Epic passes which include Afton as their "home-base" plus annual trips out west. For beginners and families, the combination of good teaching facilities, well-maintained equipment and friendly staff seems to justify the price, with several users mentioning they return regularly despite the cost.
