Best Ski Resort for Value in California / Nevada: Heavenly - Value for Money Rating 3.64/5
Heavenly might hit the wallet a bit harder than some resorts, but many Snomad users reckon it's worth every penny. "On the pricier side, but you can't beat South Lake Tahoe!" says Fina, a beginner skier. Several visitors recommend staying on the Nevada side for more budget-friendly accommodation options. One advanced skier pointed out that "Stagecoach ski lift has free parking and is not that far from Carson City." While lift tickets and beers (ranging from $7-18) aren't cheap, the combination of world-class terrain, breathtaking lake views, and diverse entertainment options in town helps justify the expense for most visitors.
