When it comes to lift efficiency, Niseko gets solid marks from our users. The resort runs a comprehensive lift network that keeps things moving, with covered, heated chairlifts that'll spoil you rotten – one reviewer even mentioned LV-decorated seats at Hirafu. Several users noted minimal queuing on most days, though heads up: Grand Hirafu can get properly busy when it's dumping fresh powder, as everyone flocks to the main car parks. The recently upgraded infrastructure is impressive, with a new gondola planned to boost capacity from 1,800 to 2,800 people per hour whilst cutting journey times.
