Best Ski Resort for Powder in Sweden: Åre - Powder Zones Rating 3.66/5
Åre's powder zones are a hit with our Snomad community. One advanced snowboarder mentioned that there's "incredible powder that can remain untouched for days if you know where to look," with opportunities to ski over the back side of the mountain for the more adventurous. Tree runs are particularly popular, with Eliette, an intermediate skier, giving them top marks and highlighting the unique experience of "skiing through trees." For those who know the terrain, the off-piste areas deliver, especially in Tegefjäll which is accessible via free bus and offers "even more varied terrain and some incredible off-piste" according to our users.
