Welcome to our definitive ski resort rankings! Unlike other sites, these results come straight from the Snomad community - passionate skiers and snowboarders who've actually hit the slopes. We've filtered out resorts with too few ratings to ensure what you're seeing reflects genuine experiences, not just a handful of opinions.

Best Ski Resort in California / Nevada: Heavenly - Overall Rating 4.19/5
Heavenly lives up to its name with what many Snomad users describe as breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe. Spanning both California and Nevada, it offers varied terrain that satisfies all ability levels. One advanced snowboarder particularly loves the terrain park with its small and medium features, while a skiing instructor praises the superb snowmaking and daily corduroy. The tree runs get frequent mentions, with one user enjoying their fantastic spacing and variable pitch. South Lake Tahoe provides plenty of après options, and though it can get crowded during peak times, the efficient lift system keeps things moving. A genuine all-rounder that delivers for families and experts alike.
