Best Ski Resort for Off-Piste in Sweden: Åre - Off-Piste Rating 3.65/5
Åre's off-piste terrain gets high marks from our community's adventurous skiers and riders. One Snomad community member liked the untouched powder that "can remain untouched for days if you know where to look," while another praised the ability to ski the backside of the mountain for more experienced riders. Robin, an advanced skier, raves about the quality, calling the off-piste "great." Tree runs are particularly popular, with Eliette mentioning the joy of "skiing through trees" across the resort. While not as extensive as some Alpine areas, Åre's off-piste delivers if you know the right spots to explore.
