Granite peak is where I first learned to snowboard, the rentals were great and affordable to give a good look at what snowboarding would look like, the green run was very accessible and the perfect length to help me learn the basics, now after going 5 times I could start bombing down black runs and 5 days later, double blacks, the mountain is perfect to slowly learn and is great for experienced boarders or skiers! Giant mountain with different sides and completely different runs, Ive been 3 years now and havent even seen it all, youll never get sick of this mountain. Granite peak is very involved with the communities keeping up with media and hosting races and events, weekly fireworks are so fun and the food is great! Overall if you live in central Wisconsin or I have friends in the twin cities that do this too, get a season pass! Its so worth it!
