Been going here for years - my whole life. It's family tradition so I guess I'm pretty biased but it's the best ski resort in Virginia, by far.

Had a great time. Was expecting it to be a small operation. If youre from the Atlantic/Midwest region this is quite good without the flying. Great place to go with kids. My boys really loved the group lesson. The ski lift is one of those automated ones which Ive found to be the least efficient. Also the snow machines were pointed towards the lifts so you got covered while suspended. The lodge was very nice too. Will be back.

Wish they had more options slop wise for beginners & the lifts didn't take so long. Had to wait 30 minutes to get on lift each time. Everyone working in the bar tent area was very friendly but I do think they need more covered seating options for that area.
