Classic New England skiing that feels like you went back in time. It's a lovely scenic setting in hilly Vermont countryside. I love that you can't see condos or anything like a resort, just old farmhouses dotting the forest and farmland landscape. Despite the short vertical I felt the mountain offered plenty of surprisingly steep challenges and interesting terrain. The vibe is very friendly. I love the historic feel of the place. It's genuinely historic, having opened in the 1930s. No lift lines, no crowds. Great day! One criticism is that the regular priced ticket is ridiculously high for the size of the mountain. $120 for a day pass is too high. All in all I really enjoyed the experience here even if there is better skiing conditions to be had at larger mountains nearby.
