Ive gone there for a while and I think it is a very good mountain with a good ski patrol. They are all very nice and they do not have power trips

Okemo is great mountain considering it is in southern VT. New lifts have improved efficiencies, parking situation could be improved greatly.

Very good mountain for a large variety of terrain and a good job sectioning off different parts of the mountain. By Jackson Gore there are a lot of good ungroomed runs as well as tree runs. On the main face of the mountain there are a lot of quality groomers, although they are fairly crowded. As far as lifts go, if you avoid the sunburst six, most are not terrible lines, and they are all quick and comfortable.

Went to okemo end of January and skied for 2 days. Conditions were ok for the east coast. The 6 seater lift was closed on the second day which was disappointing, had to take 2 slow moving lifts to the summit, it was windy and it took forever. Got a decent amount of powder in the morning but most of the popular runs got icy by midday. Jackson Gore area had some of the best trails and overall skiing. Plenty of vacation rentals through vacasa or Airbnb a short drive away from the mountain, and the shuttle service is quick and easy

Can be pretty overcrowded in parts, really overpriced. There's some really great skiing but definitely have found better for cheaper elsewhere.
