Been to okemo over 30 times and really love it. Some great tree runs hidden all around the mountain and great groomers.Only thing I hate is mountain road cutting through the middle of the mountain. Luckily they have a mid mountain lift a couple very spread apart sections of the mountain!

Okemo is a great spot to ski/snowboard for the day! I've never stayed overnight, but I went a few times while I went to college in a nearby area. It's on the epic pass which is great, and for a small vermont mountain it has pretty great options for trails. I would always choose to go to Okemo because I thought it had pretty good snow-making. This is important for me as a snowboarder because I'm not the biggest fan of icy terrain (which is hard to avoid in Vermont). I have gone mid season and late season, and late season it can get a bit slushy, but overall they maintain their trails well and respond to whatever weather the area is experiencing. I definitely plan on going again soon!

Amazing family resort with some of the best cruiser runs in the country. The snowmaking and grooming are both top notch. There's some decent glades runs especially over at Jackson Gore. Awesome lifts especially the Sunburst Six with the heated seats. Dining options are great and the town of Ludlow is classic Vermont. The ski on/off accommodations are the best I've ever seen both in terms of quantity and quality
