Super good Glade runs that have super powder snow. More family, friendly vibes but nevertheless still a vibe for apres! Less pretentious than another ski resorts in Vermont

Fantastic resort. Great options for every type of rider and conditions were great. Additionally lift times were almost 0, staff were friendly and the resort offers fun apres options for all ages. Would definitely recommend and return.

Since the start of the season, Jay Peaks has really shown itself to have the best snow out East. And with free uphill access for those wanting to skin up and ski down, this made it an easy choice to be what I consider my go-to ski hill.

Amazing slopes and good value for money but tends to be crowded sometimes. Not so much après ski vibe though

I had such an amazing time at Jay peak! We went in the middle of the week and basically had the entire hill to ourselves, since there are multiple lifts that run efficiently there was barely a wait. The runs had gorgeous views and the people were really nice. There's not much apres-ski events but there's still a nice vibe at the bottom of the hill. It can be super windy at the top of the mountain, making for some icy conditions in some areas but overall great maintenance and conditions l!

Vermont's Jay Peak Resort delivers THE East Coast ski experience and quietly has been a secret standout the last 2 years. The snowfall has been excellent and while I ski my sons go to the glades for powder and challenge. The terrain mix is a great balance of us...and we love the ramen for lunch

188 inches of snow already, just a month into the season! Truly epic! That’s more snow than any other resort in the world at the moment. On this Monday in mid-December 2025 I decided to chase the pow pow. The 8 hour drive from my home in the Philly area was well worth it. I’ve never skied East Coast glades so magnificently blanketed in powder. Jay’s Peak is a non-pretentious affordable mountain where true skiers and boarders can rie some of the best conditions in the U.S. If you’ve never been, check it out!

I went with family and it was really an amazing trip. The hotel was great and the rooms are spacious. The advantage we had is our room looks at the water park and that was more of a fun thing to do after a long day of skiing. Staff are great but the food wasn’t perfect it’s ok. Great trip and will do it again for sure.

Unique weather patterns with more fresh but often very windy. Limited continuous vertical and not exceptionally steep. Great tree skiing for East coast.

Jay Peak is well rounded resort that caters to families. They have lots of stuff to do besides skiing. Water park, climbing wall games room. I have been going to Jay for over 50 years. They vould have more close restaurants after hours, but town is not far away. Great place to go and partial Canadian money at par on some stuff.

More powder this season than Utah, that says it all! Lots of great glades. Never too crowded. A fun and friendly vibe. Only downer is the long drive to get there.

We had a fantastic time over Christmas break at Jay. Staff were great, our accommodations were great and the facilities were awesome. Very long lines (we heard record breaking) on our 2nd day. Wind had the tram to the upper mountain closed, but all in all a great trip

Great overall experience at Jay with the squad. Unfortunately, wind closed majority of the lifts but still greatly enjoyed the glades and tree runs which were grander than most in the area. I would like the try some more of the challenging runs.

We went as a family to do some ski tourning up the mountain. The tracks are beside the slopes so it is not as interesting as going uphill in the forest.

Proximity to the skiers going down and the risk of collision when crossing a slope is always there.

Really fun tree skiing and always lots of powder for the east coast. The lifts aren't the greatest and i wish the had a gondola. Fun times!

Jay is the first mountain I had ever been to. They had ambassadors that went out of their way to make me feel welcome and included. That was 30 years ago and to this day as I walk from the parking lot to the lodge there is a staff member standing outside, smiling and saying hello. That touches my heart.

We really enjoyed Jay Peak! Fresh snow made the tree runs awesome. The right hand side boundary line was a bit tricky to see on the Timbuktu glade run. It was way above our heads and would have been very easy to miss, causing you to miss the run and have to walk along the road. To get back to resort. Gondola line was never less than 30 mins when we were at the base so we opted for highest lift. Other than that, the resort was awesome. It was a great day!

Jay Peak is our familys favorite mountain, between wonderfully groomed blues and awesome black glades. Jay has the best snow on the east coast.
