This is a nice mountain that is family, friendly, and especially good if you are on a budget. We were surprised at the elevation, even though it is in the south. The majority of the lodging is Airbnb, which is not very far from the resort. We did have to take a mountain taxi to get to the mountain and back. Great for beginners and good for families especially if you are looking for an inexpensive ski trip.

Love Beech Mtn. Very friendly atmosphere and affordable. Lifts lines are generally within 5 min wait. Food options aren't great. Look for the Mexican food truck on the side.

Good but no weekend pass which is a killer for those who dont want the full season pass. Only a weekday and full pass.
