Really cool mountain worth hitting as part of a larger trip to the Taos area. Loved the terrain at a number of difficulty levels. My biggest complaint was crowd management. Lots of newer skiers, which isn't a problem on its own, but I felt that the crowdflow was managed in a way that made things dangerous for all ability levels. Still, be sure to hit some trees! Really cool glades!

Great first mountain for riders, and especially easy to get to & cost effective for those based on the greater southwest. This is a true ski town. No frills, no flash, just a reasonably priced mountain and a decent number of runs. Angel Fire gets decent snow and is very approachable - just skip the hill around major holidays. Great place to learn and very family friendly. Plan your trip well and youre guaranteed to have a good time.

Angel fire is a great resort for your family get away, with tons of options for kiddos to ride or mom and dad to get some quiet time away while the kids are at ski school they have amazing groomed terrain even for early season. As well as doing fireworks and tons of shows at night for familys during the holiday Angel fire is a must ride resort regardless and hopeuflly youll catch it on a powder day and go to the hike to terrain for some amazing glades.

Angel Fire resort has great staff and several really good places in the area to eat. The ski school instructors are patient. Security is awesome and you can be sure that your stuff is safe in your room. The hotel is really nice and clean. The pool and hot tub are cleaned regularly and also really nice. If there isnt a lot of snow during the season they have people who work all night to make sure there is enough snow to keep the slopes safe and fun. The area is very pretty and the locals are friendly. I dont ski but my kids did and had the time of their lives!
