Great mountain for beginner and intermediate skiers. Excellent ski school. The main lift moves right along from the main lodge to the top. Gunstock does a superb job blowing snow, so even when Mother Nature sleeps in, you will still find skiing at Gunstock. You can find rental homes nearby, but Gunstock is really a daytime only ski resort. Beautiful views of Lake Winni from the summit.

With one of the most expensive season passes in the state you would think they would have more to offer. The trails are lackluster, minimal woods / off piste skiing and absolutely slammed on the weekends. They only open 1 restaurant at a time and dont even let groups sit together. Place is okay midweek after a good snowstorm but not worth it any other time

Weve had a crap year with every snow storm followed by rain. The snow makers at Gunstock have done a remarkable job, fighting an uphill battle all season! I cant even believe that Im able to ski so far. Very grateful for their hard work. You can have all the lifts and restaurants you want, but if you dont have snow, you cant ski!

Fun little resort if your in the area, theres definitely larger ones with more advanced terrain out there but this is still a lot of fun in my opinion no matter your skill level. Great for families. Conditions can be variable as its the east coast but nonetheless still pretty good if you get snow a day or two before. Weekends and holidays the resort can definitely be very packed so if you have the option Id definitely recommend going on a week day. Since its a smaller resort I dont stay the night so Im not sure how hotels and food is but I cant imagine their bad as gilford is a good town. Overall would recommend to anyone whos thinking of going as its a fun and family friendly place
