Tamarack ski resort is currently my favorite ski resort. Terrain parks are getting better every year and the out of bounds Terrain is fantastic. It is a hidden gem and the staff is a great tight knit community. Mountain bike trails are fantastic. I would argue the best in Idaho. Conditions can be warm, but when the temps are right, the mountain skis excellently.

Tamarack is a ski resort located on Cascade lake near Donelly and Cascade. It has fun off trail runs and long flowy groomers with fun park throughout the mountain. Tamarack has 4 ski lifts containing a long range of difficulty and good side country access.

Tamarack Resort is definitely a sleeper. It is a super awesome mountain with a ton of amazing runs and crazy snow. The terrain park is highly esteemed in idaho and beyond, and the long groomed runs keep you coming back. Tamarack village is amazing, there are a ton of restaurants and bars and places to stay. Perfect for the whole family. The drive is gorgeous, and the views at the top of the lift are breath taking. Definitely give Tamarack a chance!
