Went for a night ski during a weekday and the snow was slightly slushy because the temperature was high that day, but besides that it was great(no ice). The size of the skiable area is not that large, but there is enough black runs to keep you entertained for a while. Overall, it seems more geared to more beginner levels. There were very few people and the staff was really nice. If your are looking for a quick ski for a low price, than this is a great option, but if you want more, there are better options close by like Targhee.

Lovely, gorgeous in the fog, which cut my irrational slope fear, very friendly and safe feeling. Great affordable teachers. Present and friendly medics. Easy to get around. Beautiful from the parking lot.

Targee is a great resort with everything you can ask for in a ski resort. Quiet during the week but busy on the weekends. Gets lots of snow and great terrain. Easily my overall favorite resort.

Kellys is very small but great for a family. Especially one that needs lessons. They have an excellent bunny hill and trainers. It is only $150 for 4 lessons. Great family friendly place.

A smaller cheaper alternative if your a broke college student. It's a good place for when you don't want to drive far and need to get a quick fix. There aren't a lot of runs and they can get boring after a few days.

Love Kelly Canyon the runs are fun going down face is always a blast there are some cons like the random potholes in the snow or the bumpiness going down face sometimes but other than that its really fun the resort is well taken care of overall a great experience but i wouldnt eat there the food is a little pricy so i wouldnt suggest a packed lunch or eating somewhere else after getting done but overall a 8/10 experience love love love this resort.

Kelly is a fun ski resort. They have good trails with a lot of different levels of runs. They also have a bunny hill for beginners and a terrain park for the experts. The ski resort has lots of lights so you can ski st night. They are always making snow so it's never bare ground. Overall fun ski hill

Skied here forever. Not great snow or terrain and kinda expensive now, but super fun once you know all 23 runs very well. Really good resort for beginners. Only gets about 5 decent powder days per year

I absolutely love Kelly Canyon! It isnt the best by any means but for the money feels unbeatable. The entire staff is kind and feels like family. Its small but they make good use of the mountain and are always holding different promotions and activities. There are three different lifts (slow and short as the mountain isnt very tall). A big bonus is that lines are basically nonexistent. Even in groups I never wait more than 5-10 minutes to get on the lift. Great experience skiing at Kelly Canyon!

Growing up right in the middle of the largest resorts in Utah, I was pleasantly surprised by how great Kelly canyon was! Albeit the resort was not the largest, the crowds were highly manageable and the snow conditions were incredible! We found powder all over the mountain and were able to ski without being crowded up until the mid afternoon, morning being the best time. They could use some more signage for maps and trail names, and warn the possible of trudging on the far end of the resort but it was nothing we couldnt manage. Lifts are typically 2 - 3 people per chair but they run at an efficient speed so that you can be back up the mountain in less than 5 minutes from when you load on, with great lift staff ready to help when things go south. Definitely going to be going more!

Kelly canyon is very much a local Mom and Pap ski resort and honestly not too much else. It's very much beginner focused and there really isn't any advanced terrain. Their night skiing is very unique, however, and one of the main reasons why I ski here. It's a ton of fun to go up with friends after a day of work and get some turns in. They were recently purchased by a new owner who is spending a lot of time and money investing into the resort. If they spent quality time building a beginner to intermediate terrain park I think they could make a way bigger name for themselves and work their way up to building advanced features. The lift tickets are incredibly expensive for what you get though and their prices keep going up. Overall, if you live close and want somewhere to ski after work it's great, but I would never travel to ski here. Great for beginners, but for anyone advanced, go the hour farther to ski Targhee or Jackson.

Whenever I go there it is always a great time with my friends and I would highly recommend it. I've been going there for about 4 years now and I have never been disappointed. There food is also amazing it is black hawk barbecue. Me and my friends agree that the best run is raking the face lift and cutting across to skiers lane because you get terrain, park, trees, and powder from it.
