On a powder day the trees are the place to be for your great skiing adventure. There are tons of intermediate terrain and if lacking the black or more difficult terrain is limited.

Though you need to drive farther than vail if coming from the East, youll make that time back easily by parking in arrowhead vs Vails free parking options that require a bus and long walk to get to the lifts. If its cold enough powder lasts for days at BC, as clientel mostly sticks to the groomers. Royal Elk glade is amazing tree skiing, and cliffs abound in the stone creek chutes, why are fewer lift rides away from the base than Vails blue sky basin. If youre a total masochist like me wait until the Birds of Prey downhill course goes ungroomed and ski the almost 2k vert of bumps.

I love beaver creek as someone with friends all across the spectrum of skill. I think there are great little areas where everyone can take things at their own pace. Well maintained and fun runs. Plenty of little stops for food. A fun resort and one of my favorites for a day trip with a big group.

If you want to Rip trees and herons this is the place for you. Never gets that crowded so I was able to lap any lift I desire. Also getting around terrain area is painless for the most part (except for the traverse to arrowhead) in that you can get there by doing a legit run. Highly recommended.

A luxury family resort short on luxury but high on great terrain and snow in an uncrowded environment.

Love skiing BC groomers and tree runs! Lots of terrain to choose from.
If it gets busy in one area you can keep moving and find areas that are less crowded. A bit expensive but that is the same for pretty much all the major ski resorts in Colorado. Having a pass helps for sure!
Can't wait to go back

I came here for the park and holy cow, unbelievable. I visited not long after the x games so all the decor was still up and the atmosphere was incredible. Recommended

Quiet but awesome mountain. All the trails go straight down so its good for beginners who may be prone to getting lost. It also has very good expert terrain (if you know where to look). Warm cookies at the end of the day. Great village. I love this place.
It can be pricy though and the terrain park doesnt have a lift which is a big downside for me.
