June is a sister resort to mammoth and not as popular. It is smaller and at a lower elevation. It's family friendly and can have great value for families with younger children The tree runs and off piste terrain can be very fun on powder days. On days when mammoth is crazy busy consider driving 40 min to June, you might have less lift lines.Although one time I went there was a bottleneck at the bottom lift and it took > an hour to get up to midmountain, where all the other lifts start from.

June Lake area is spectacular beautiful! The views from the ski resort are Jaw dropping. Usually no crowds since most people go to Mammoth. June is a great alternative when the weather is windy inMammoth. On powder days, the tree runs are favorites for locals in The region.

Family oriented. Lots of room to ride or ski. Is near the town of June Lake, CA. Usually pretty quiet on non popular days.

Cool little resort, great for untracked powder days and a day off from busy Mammoth. Great brewery in town too.

Fun little resort. No lines WHATSOEVER and ever . Its a perfect place for tree runs off piste and a prime access point for backcountry skiing. Very rustic and cozy feel not your typical corporate resort. Staff are all SUPER friendly and its night and day compared to its parent company Mammoth Mountain 10 miles down the road
