Les Crosets is a quiet backdoor to the Portes du Soleil, aside from the weekend when those from Geneva and surrounding areas swamp there. There is very little infrastructure. One ski shop and a couple of eateries at the bottom. The cookie bar at the top of the first lift up is lovely. Good vibe and variety of food and drink. Access to French side is good, though make sure you get back over early as they are q happy to shut all return lifts at short notice!! The Swiss side lift system is fairly slow. Morgins is a nice chocolate box village. A nice patisserie with seating is worth visiting for a morning coffee and cake break. It is possible to ski a circuit via Chatel quite easily. Don't expect to get right round complete area as lifts are slow and some links are by bus. The snow quality and maintenance in Les Crosets was good. Lift staff not overly friendly, unlike the French side where they were amazing. There limited on slope accommodation and some large chalets about 10 minutes drive. Boarders are best placed in Avoriaz with their wealth of snowparks. If you want a quiet base, then Les Crosets is perfect. If you want shops and a night life then choose another location.

Great family chill resort with plenty of great runs for all skills. Good schools for all ages. Great chalet options. Beautiful nature. Great lifts even during busy times.
