First time skiing in Sweden, and I really enjoyed this area. Lots of fun runs, and the added opportunity to ski the other two mountains was . Dont miss out on skiing under the lights, as its a unique experience with sunrise and sunsets of the beautiful surroundings. I only wish I had my personal gear to be able to ski much more open terrain. But a great place for everyone with warm, and helpful staff whom all LOVE the snow!

Thank you SkiStar!

We stayed with friends, so I'm not sure about the other accommodations but we did have dinner at the main hotel and it was gorgeous and good food. AMAZING skiing, just incredibly well done groomers, excellent off piste powder and good variety. Not sure there was much in the way of tree skiing or moguls and I don't recall seeing a terrain park.

Great resort, run by ski star who have always been incredibly friendly and helpful in sorting out any issues. Three different areas which have their own feel.

It is a great small area to go skiing, choose a week that is not between the three holidays weeks of the south, east and west of Sweden split. During these times everything is very busy and expensive. However outside of these times it is all affordable and quiet. Most places you stay in BjörnRike have ski in and out access to the slopes, however Klövsjö and vemdalen less so.
Get the Vemdalen pass so you can ski at three resort as it splits up the skiing time as the runs at each place isn't the biggest.
Each resort is completely different BjörnRike is better for families and younger children where as KlöveSjö and Vemdalen is better for older skiers. All resorts have children's indoor play areas which can split up their days.
Bring or hire a car to get in between resorts as well on the drive up buy supplies and food before you get near to the resorts to save a significant amount of money.
Hire skis outside the resorts in the nearby villages, there are plenty of places and they are all cheaper and significantly less wait time to the ones at the resorts.

Ive been going here for over 12 years its always worth it and always a lit of snow during January and February. Takes a long time to get to from near airports but the roads enroute are always salted and safe. Easy access to slopes from anywhere you stay as well and great parking if you stay further away.
If you buy the vemdalen ski pass you can go to all three areas which allows you to split the ski time up a bit as ones are more family friendly and other are more difficult.
