Baqueira is an upmarket resort with very reasonable prices.Very good lift system, hardly any queues, very well maintained and spacious pistes. My favourite resort and Ive been to most resorts in Europe and Whistler in Canada.

Definitely a good ski resort, it is evident that a lot of people that go here are regulars and it really feels like a community. Weekends can get quite busy but all in all there is a good mix of people so I definitely recommend.

A great, family resort. Good for beginners. Great restaurants & prices. Ideally need a car. Resort is only 2 hours from Toulouse or 4 hours from Barcelona. Reasonable priced accommodation in Salardu & Arties. Much cheaper than France!!!

Incredible resort to take beginners and children, even when snow is rubbish they work so hard to keep the pistes as good as they can do! Brilliant restaurants for tapas and red wine. Love it here.

Excellent resort for blue red skiers. Limited for expert terrain when snow cover is hard pack/icy. Food excellent everywhere. Lifts generally fast & reliable.

Grest place to go as a family or a group of friends! Good quality of slopes and good options for restaurants and evening plans. However, car is needed for everything.

Pros - great snow conditions - wide variety of ski terrain - modern and fast lifts - not crowded - great food/drinks - not too expensive Cons - limited après - slightly harder to get to than some resorts - language barrier, no English ski school

Amazing ski resort where you can get tired of slopes. You can ski a different path every day, due to its 165 km. In addition to that, the après ski life is something else, with a lot of options and some very nice hotels, there is something for every taste. Even if the price of this ski resort is slightly higher than any other resort in Spain, it is definitely worth the money. You can find areas for absolute beginners, intermediate or more expert. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Baqueira is a great resort with family. Accommodation in the resort is very close to the pistes. The facilities are new, clean and extremely efficient. You will not wait in line for a second, everything runs smoothly and quick. May not be ideal for very beginners as the piste to come down to the station gets really busy/wet by the end of the day.

Great little resort with a traditional Spanish feel. We went in early Jan and our only issue was the snow was a bit thin that year. We still had loads of fun ripping groomers and did one day touring just outside the resort. Accomodation was reasonably easy but definitely easier with a car. We stay two towns away down the valley. This is Spain so you are not going to be disappointed by the food (and the prices). We are very well enjoying great tapas, iberico ham, and char grilled steaks. Not a huge amount of internal variety but I don't think you need it. Would definitely visit again, especially if the conditions looked more promising.
