Gausta Skisenter Reviews & Ratings

Excellent small family orientated resort. Main hotel accommodation excellent, evening meals were more limited due to size of resort. Skiing was great as was ski school for son. If going in busy period ie half term etc ski school needs to be booked well in advance.

Gausta is probably the most beautiful ski resort I've ever been to - It was quiet, with very well groomed slopes, efficient lifts with short queue times, very friendly staff, and delicious options for food during the day and in the evening. (Amazing pastries/hot chocolates at the bakery and pizzas at Stova!) There was a really good mixture of slopes for all abilities, although having been to larger ski resorts, we did find that we had skiied every single slope by the third day of our holiday!

Felt more for families, not much going on re apres ski but good for learning. Food is nice and a good variety

Great place to ski more for intermediates great places to go out to really friendly staff such as lift managers and bar stuff and more

Learned to ski for the first time here, teachers are very patient and spacious enough to practice. Food and hotels are amazing too.

Brilliant resort if you get the snow. Loads of other activities if you dont get the snow. Lift passes was actually cheaper than Bulgaria. Beers was about £6 a pint and a pizza was £14 which is cheaper than the alps. Some runs was so quiet youd think it was closed untill your reached the bottom again.

Gausta is a very beautiful resort but unfortunately we didnt have much snow. Also they have 13 lifts but only 2 are actually chairs. The rest are T bars. But great value for money and awe had some fun days so I would recommend.

Amazing off piste from Gaustatoppen when conditions allow. Lift is a train that runs up through the middle of the mountain!
