Really quiet town with super easy access to the slopes and everything you need. Lots of options for all inclusive hotels and self catering. Plenty of shops to buy things for self catering. A few shops to buy skiing/snowboarding items from if you forget or want to buy some extra layers. Gorgeous sunrise and sunsets every day and beautiful views over the frozen lake from most hotels and the slopes.
Only downside is the slopes are only open from 10am-3/4pm but are open 2 times a week for late night skiing/snowboarding.
Really good for families as there are some quite slopes for practicing as well as lots of green/blue/reds all mixed together for different abilities. Black runs are on the opposite side of the lake that a free shuttle bus can take you to so you cant accidentally end up on a scary slope.
Nice restaurant half way up the slope for snacks/drinks while youre out on the slopes and plenty of restaurants and bars opens till late providing entertainment.
Lots of extra activities to do apart from skiing; horse riding, dog sledging, ice fishing, swimming pool and spa. Overall really nice peaceful resort with plenty to do for all levels

Smaller resort but not too busy. Friendly people. Probably more for beginners and intermediate. Snow rafting looks amazing but we were too early in the season to try.

There were a lot of great parts of Beitostolen, it's a charming place with plenty of local amenities and the snowboard instructors were really friendly, professional and kind. The review has probably been skewed because we went during the half term week and as such the slopes were really busy with lots of children which obviously made the runs a bit more nervy and crowded, but the resort and options on the slopes overall were very good, would definitely recommend even in the holidays.

No doubt one of the best European resort fpr family skiing n boarders nice little resort ,superb service . Easy to get to fro. The uk n other countries and always have good level of snow. All accommodation is very close to the slopes . Some actually in walking distance. Amazing skischool n also lots of other snow activities on offer very very good accommodation standard.
