What Skiers Say About Arabba Marmolada

Arabba attracts predominantly advanced and expert skiers who value its position on the Sella Ronda and access to the wider Dolomiti Superski area. Reviewers consistently mention excellent piste grooming, modern lift infrastructure with minimal queues, and substantially lower prices for food and drink compared to France and Switzerland. The resort itself is described as small and quiet with limited après-ski and nightlife options. Several users note that runs back to the village are red or black only, making it unsuitable for beginners. Snow-making facilities receive frequent praise, though some mention the lower altitude can affect conditions in spring.

Arabba Marmolada is part of the spectacular Dolomiti Superski range - amazing pistes, fabulous scenery, postcard perfect on blue sky days. Lifts are very efficient and even the larger queues move quickly with ongoing investment in resort infrastructure apparent across the region. Arabba is a quiet town (perhaps not the place if youre here for the Apres) with great access to the slopes from a number of lifts! I would definitely recommend!

I went with my family and we had a great time. Slopes were well maintained and I could enjoy solo morning skiing thanks to the ski school. My kids enjoyed it too and improved 100%! What an result and win win. We will be back as my partner and I felt that it was a good price for a week holiday.

Marmolada is a glacier run which is definitely worth doing if youre nearby the area. Theres also the sellaronda and other places to stay that are more village based like Corvara and Selva val gardena. Great food in the area and great views

Beautiful place, great fun skiing and lots of different routes to try. The mpuntains here are stunning and the food is delicious. Everything is much cheaper and i would say higher quality than france. We loved our chalet and have great memories from our time here. The boot and ski rentals are really helpful too, my boots were really hurting on the first day so i went back and they were happy to change them straight away for something more comfortable, making sure they were better this time!

Quieter than France- rarely have to queue for a lift. Very well groomed slopes. Pistes are relatively short though, meaning more lifts in total. One of our favourite places overall considering cost, food and ski quality.

We were two friends who are expert skiers. We enjoyed our accommodations, skiing and overall vibes of the hill. We familiarized ourselves by riding the sellaronda. We we skiied the highest point marmalada one sunny day. It was the highlight of our trip, the ski lifts ran well, was never too busy, apres was great, mountain side food was amazing.

Arabba gives you so much choice of scenic runs and some fantastic places to eat at lunchtime! Plenty of reds, blacks and towards San Cassiano and Corvara, lots of cruisey blues. Sella Ronda is on the doorstep (busy but fun day out) plus access to lots of other interesting ski areas including the scary Sasslong and the super steep black World Cup run by La Villa. Very little apres in Arabba so good for a trip focused on first lift up and last run back (with a sauna and jacuzzi waiting for you at the end!)

As well as access to all the Sella Ronda, it's the closest to the amazing Marmalada glacier slopes. Keeps snow on its north-facing slopes longer than nearby resorts. Snow-making and grooming are superb.

Arabba is a resort not many people know about, its for intermediate and expert skiers. Easy access to the SellaRonda and if you can manage it you can do the orange and green in one day.
If you stay off the SellaRonda you can find some quieter slopes which not many people know about

A quiet village atmosphere that gives you a real sense of old ski charm. Perfect for intermediate ski families who are not that bothered about apreski. The skiing possibilities are endless and everyday can take you on a new route. The views from the top of the marmolada glacier are absolutely stunning, with a long red run all the way down you will be ready for a drink at the bottom.
The Sella Ronda is perfect for a day of different slopes and scenery and if you have children that like the action of snow parks there are plenty of these. Skiing into and out of resort is not for very beginners but if you have been skiing a few times and want a nice quiet resort with lots of skiing this is perfect.

Week at end January, fabulous snow blue skies and excellent skiing. A bit windy Ona few days so some lifts shut.
Extensive skiing around Sella Ronda 50km of pistes per day, with the most stunning views.

Very good snow making facilities and ski lifts are very efficient.
Arabba is linked to so much of the dolomites- the marmolada and sellaronda were great.
Food is very good on the slopes but can get expensive as in most ski resorts.
So many brilliant pistes and snow quality is always good so overall the skiing is top tier for runs of all levels.

Overall, I loved this resort and rate it highly.

Toughest skiing in the Sella Ronda and good access to Marmalada Glacier and the full Sella Ronda circuit. Not much to do after skiing, hotel based bars and a couple of shops but not the place to stay if you want an apres ski scene. Hotels and apartments and motorhome parking so plenty of accommodation options. Good piste maintenance and snow making.
