The Skiers' Guide to Superdevoluy / La Joue du Loup

Excellent resort - cheap as chips and had a good balance of slope difficulties. Unfortunately doesn’t have a huge amount of snow early in the season (we visited 13-20th Dec) but it was well worth what we paid and I know that it is normally busier and more vibrant than when we went.

Slopes have incredible views and it is well worth the visit!

We had a great family holiday introducing our 2 year old to skiing. Quite a compact center. Despite warm temperatures they managed to keep the lower slopes working well. Up top with our older daughter we found good snow and nice runs. Great value

Stayed in La Joue du loup over 10 times. Small but cosy village and incredible value for money. We always go with a group of friends and been loving it for many years!

We booked a self catering cabin for a week in March, it was VERY good value, just as a couple there was no activities in the evening or any form of life other than a couple of restaurants on the mountain, we were the only English speakers so certainly not a tourist resort, if as a family would probably be great but having skied in a lot of resorts like meribel and chamonix it is not in the same league. It was my wifes second time skiing so for what we wanted it worked out just fine.

Quick lifts, nicely groomed runs, good food. Good resort!
Is quite good for beginners with a few baby slopes and a magic carpet. Good ski school.

Had a great week was brilliant. Runs were really good and some of the blacks runs were really good. The blues and reds were perfect and the greens were abit full but thats normal. Lifts had barely and lines apart from the one at the bottom but that is too get up the mountain so wasnt bad after you got up.
