Two visits to Puy Saint Vincent with Snowbizz. ESF ski school were amazing. The only odd thing about Puy is that food is much more expensive in the resort centre than in the mountain huts. Highly recommended for young families, and most importantly exceptional snow record. A hidden gem.

Great place for younger families.
Some fabulous ski instructors and a great ski school for kids.
It's a small resort and perfect for learners, it has enough shops and restaurants for a week with the little ones. There are some nice apartments and hotels too.

If you're looking for technical skiing or lots of apres -ski options then don't come here!

This resort is small and perfect for a first time ski/board holiday especially with kids.

Easy and fairly quick drive from the nearest airport

Mainly blue/red runs with a gloriously long mellow green running top to bottom for the beginners to really build up their confidence. Good training areas with superb ski school.

The blues are wide and well connected
There is a good range of blue and blue/red runs to see yourself progress as the trip goes on.

Mainly aimed at newer skiers/riders but there are enough black runs but enough to keep everyone entertained.

Mainly a ski in/ski out resort with a range of restaurants, bars, shops and amenities to choose from.

Everything is close by and easy to access

The cafes up the slopes are reasonably priced and good service.

Kids clubs and entertainment is good too with lots going on, especially around Christmas time with nighttime light parades and santa showing up!

Highly reccomend!

If you want a great family oriented resort that is great for Children and beginners then this is the resort for you. Never waiting more than 30seconds to get on a lift and the pistes are virtually empty. Resort staff are really friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurants is great.
Apres is almost non existent but dont let that put you off, theres plenty of small bars and restaurants where you can have a drink or social meet ups.
Lots of accommodations right in the pistes so no bus transfers or walking with skis, ski straight from the lockers in the majority of accommodations. Also a great English company called Snowbizz who run from the resort with amazing childcare and unbelievable service. Great company for anyone with a young family or just looking for a quiet resort.
Snow has always been great everytime I have been.

We visit Puy St Vincent every year with a large group, the resort staff are really friendly and the pistes well maintained. We stay at the Hotel St Roch, where the staff are very helpful and friendly, and the food good. The area is also nice and quiet during the week. Cons - it is not a large resort, so you could ski all the runs in a day, but there are touring options and the off piste does not get tracked as quickly as some other resorts. Pros - good snow record in recent years and all the runs funnel back to the village, so you cannot get stuck on the wrong side of the mountain!
