Orelle Reviews & Ratings

It’s a small resort, but the lift gets busy. It’s great to access Val Thorens and the rest of the three valleys and offers much cheaper accommodation costs

Almost perfect conditions! Plenty of snow, friendly and lots of fun! Would certainly return again one day!

Great place to visit if there is a powder day, very long sections of off piste which you can do laps on top to bottom. Easily accessible from VT and the rest of the 3 valleys

Amazing off-piste skiing with descents facing different ways so there's always powder somewhere! Well worth the small price tag for a days skiing.

Orelle is a small, very French resort which has access links to the three valleys.
An amazing little resort with a big benefit of accessing Val thorens and the rest of the three valleys.
Accommodation wise theres limited choice but with regular shuttles from the residence to the gondola this isnt a problem.
Nightlife is very limited but for the avid skier who wants to get up and go, its the perfect compromise. Flying into Turin and hiring a car is the best option from the uk 1h35m drive. Lyon is 2h35m as a comparison.

Not a ski resort but a valley town with a big gondola link into the 3 Valleys system.
Literally nothing to do other than ski, no shops, one bar, no restaurants.
Lift is efficient but only starts at 9 so skiing actually starts at 9.30/45 and you have to be back over the ridge in Orelle before 4 or else you won't get back meaning it's a fairly short ski day. Stay in one of the main 3V resorts unless your on the tightest of budgets.
