We had a great time in les sybelles.

We hired an apartment for 3 of us. Les sybelles, it was Cheep and cheerful. Lifts were 1 minute walk..

The vibe was great, the slopes werent busy so a great place to go and get confidence, and even learn.

Would definitely take my family there as an introduction to skiing,

The mountain range was brilliant. Loved the runs. I hadn't been for a few years, (pre covid) and the last time was in chamonix, however there was no snow, due to the heat of the sun. The Mountain was only half open and I lost my confidence, due too alot of stacks, really icey slopes then melting to slush. So the week away with my mates in les sybelles was amazing.. my confidance came back, i was away with more boarders so technique and experiance was different. we were knackered at the end of each day, we never missed a stop in one of the many bars to grab a few beers before we went home. We cooked for ourselves, we drove over from england so we stopped at an aldi/ lidl at bottom of mountain mostly and chilled in the evening. We aren't spring chickens anymore. So needed to stretch and relax and be ready for the next day.

We stayed at Residence Alpages de Corbier which is a superbly placed accommodation at one end of the resort, at the bottom of a blue run (ski right to the door) and only a 50m ski to a 6 seater chairlift. The resort itself is not the most attractive due to a number of high rise accommodation blocks but the commercial area at the base of these buildings has a good selection of shops and bar/restaurants as well as conveniently placed equipment hire shops and lift pass offices. The Le Corbier ski area is mostly on the sunny aspect of the mountains including the runs down to Le Toussoire and St Jean d'Arves resorts. The lift system copes really well with dispersing skiers across the resort, particularly so early in January before full occupancy. At 1650m the resort is fantastic when there has been good snowfall and the temperatures don't rise too high but could quickly deteriorate on the lower slopes if the opposite was the case.
Overall, for the second year running my wife and I had a brilliant holiday in this relaxed, family orientated resort.

It’s a family friendly resort been there many times. It’s worth for an experience for good slopes and a calm place to be for skiing experience. I went out with my friends but we still had fun even if there was no apreski. (Though there is a small club there)

Grooming is fairly poor, if it's done at all. Many runs were closed which really had no reason to be, and some of the harder open runs should really have been groomed. There's good access to beginner off-piste skiing, and a good place to practice.Overall a lacklustre resort saved by the off-piste progression opportunities.

Good little Sherpa supermarket near accommodations and a nice short walk to the first morning lift. Stunning scenery(funnily enough) and watch out for moguls and grassy patches but I went at a very warm time. Good gentle ski run to get to the bulk of the accommodation and another ski lift

Spent a season here, it snowed twice. Literally had to go work in another resort for weeks if I wanted to ski. Its a pretty behind the times resort with ugly buildings old lift systems and snow making and pretty messy apres ski.
