Reviews

Cordon, what a charming ski resort ! Leaning against Aravis mountain chain and in the front row Mont-Blanc mountain chain, Cordon is nicknamed the "balcony over the Mont-Blanc". Even the resort is family friendly, you can ski on green or blue slopes as well as red steep slopes. The slopes start higher the village then in the forest to the mountain pasture just below the Croix du Planet and Croisse Baulet peaks. The sun exposure ist east so there is enough sun but not to much to keep the snow fresh and cold. Some slopes (ie Les Fieux) are north exposed what ensures you to find powder several days after a snowfall. I know many shortcuts between the trees that are very funny. In the heart of the resort slopes are smoothier and very suitable to learn skiing as I did on the slopes and as my daughter does currently. Cordon, a beautiful, welcoming and endearing village ski resort where you will find fun, calm and contemplation.
