The resort is recognized for its breathtaking scenery, including the iconic needles of Arves, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Albiez-Montrond is also home to unique attractions like the Albiez le Vieux windmill and local artisan crafts. Its smaller scale and less crowded slopes offer a more intimate and authentic Alpine experience, perfect for families and those seeking a quiet winter getaway.

Reviews

Albiez is a sweet, picturesque resort that has a great family feel to it. It offers skiing for all abilities, but mainly catered towards beginners. There are some superb off-piste runs, that really take your breathe away! Accommodation is affordable depending on where you go, but the good thing is most areas are within walking distance to ski lifts, some directly ski to door. A variety of restaurants poke about the resort, and theres a couple of supermarkets. Given its altitude, snowfall is good but has been thin at times depending on the time of year. An affordable resort with good ski runs, and a lovely small community feel to it.
