Great lift system which links a number of resorts giving a great choice of runs. Lifts were not very busy even on a Saturday. Pistes are well maintained. Ski bus system enables you to get to and from the station easily.

Best for Tree runs, off piste, split boarding and getting in those ski miles!! Dreamy and one of my all time favourite ski resorts

Had such a great time at Zillertal Arena a few years back! Great ski lifts and lots of nice runs through trees which is a nice change from regular slopes.

Located in the Zillertal Valley, all the resorts are linked by either train or bus, free to use with your lift pass making it easy to ski a different resort daily. With Mayerhofen, Zell am Ziller, Kaltenbach and Fugen in the main valley. Zell linked with Gerlos and Konigsleiten in the side valley and the Hintertux glacier beyond Mayerhofen there is plenty of skiing whatever your standard or fancy on a particular day.

Zell am Ziller is a great resort, a really large ski area and if you want to spend the day exploring, working your way from one side of the ski area over to smaller villages on the far side its perfect and will keep you smiling all day long. A wide variety of pistes to suit all ability levels, laid out in a way that seems logical to navigate. Great off piste that is easily accessible between groomed areas. Buy a super ski pass and you also get access the amazing ski areas of Kaltenbach, Mayrhofen and the Hintertux (maybe incorrect spelling) Glacier

My favourite resort in Austria! Amazing range of pistes and off piste skiing available. Such a big area, it takes almost a whole day to go from one side to the other and back again. Excellent modern lift system with lots of heated chairs. Only drawback is there arent a huge number of beginner runs.
